Skalar is a Dutch company, established in 1965 as a producer of analyzers for the laboratory and process industry.  Over the years, they have manufactured many different types of analyxers and specialized in the analysis of water.

One of Skalar’s key products is the Continuous Flow Analyzer – the San++ Automated Wet Chemistry Analyzer.  Based on the Continuous Flow Analysis (CFA) technique, up to 16 analytical measurements can be made on a single sample simultaneously. With the addition of rinsing valves and software the San++ system can automate; start-up, shut-down, dilutions, reruns, clean-up, and raw data storage.

Skalar also offers a wide range of analyzers for environmental applications such as TOC, TN/Protein analyzers as well as robotics that help to ease laborious methods for measuring BOD, COD, pH in drinking/waste water.
