EUROSTAR series | Wireless technology
cid:image002.jpg@01CE1134.D1E37740 IKA introduces the first overhead stirrers with removable wireless controller (WiCo), designed to optimize complex stirring applications. The wireless controller (WiCo) allows to work in a fume hood or safety cabinet without lifting the protective screen, which in turn helps protect the user from toxic material exposure in addition to preserving sample integrity.IKA overhead stirrers effortlessly process stirring volumes up to 200 liters. They stand out because of their indispensable features, which include: electronic safety circuit, digital/TFT display, integrated bushing for a temperature sensor, two speed ranges, ability to control the rheological changes and monitor all parameters using labworldsoft® software, a digital error display, etc.>> Click here for more information

Homogeneous mixing of mud paraffin with EUROSTAR 100 control
Task: 1 kg of mud paraffin to be mixed homogeneously with a suitable overhead stirrer
Method of Preparation: The sample is filled into a 2 liter beaker and melted in a water bath at 130 °C. During the melting process, the sample is stirred with the overhead stirrer EUROSTAR 100 control and a dissolver stirrer R 1300 at low speeds. The medium temperature is measured directly using a PT-1000 temperature sensor which is connected to the agitator. After the mud paraffin has completely melted, the speed is increased to 1200 rpm and the sample is stirred for 2 mins. Then, the stirrer is removed and the sample is cooled to
