Portable Density / Specific Gravity Meter (DA-130N)
Overview
This portable density/specific gravity meter samples with one hand and can be operated right- or left-handed, with the measuring cell visible throughout so the operator can see that the sample is bubble-free. Light weight keeps long sampling runs comfortable, and viscous liquids up to roughly 2000 mPa·s can be drawn in.
Readings cover density and temperature-compensated density, specific gravity and temperature-compensated specific gravity, plus Brix %, alcohol concentration, sulphuric acid concentration, API degree, Baumé degree, Plato and Proof degree. The graphic LCD shows temperature, sample number, auto-sensing oscillation stability, auto data saving and output, data deletion and a battery indicator; battery life is stated as twice that of conventional instruments.
Applications include beverages, foods, petroleum and chemical production, where quick checks replace glass hydrometers.
