Measuring equipment covers the hand-held instruments used to check sizes and working conditions in quality control, workshops and laboratories: calipers and micrometers for dimensions and thickness, and light meters for the illumination at benches, inspection stations and work areas.

Measuring equipment we supply

Calipers for outside, inside and depth measurements. The Mitutoyo calipers range covers vernier, ABS Digimatic, solar-powered, coolant-proof (IP66 and IP67) and long-jaw models.

Light meters measure illumination in lux or foot-candles. The CENTER 337 is auto-ranging up to 40,000 lx; the CENTER 530 has a detachable, rotatable sensor and reads up to 199,900 lx. Both are also listed under Light Meters.

How to choose

Caliper or micrometer: a caliper is quicker and covers a longer range; a micrometer gives finer resolution over a short range.
Digital or vernier: Digimatic models avoid reading errors and can send results to a PC; coolant-proof models suit wet workshop conditions.
Light meter range: indoor work areas need a few thousand lux at most, while daylight and bright inspection lamps need the higher range of the CENTER 530.
