Overview

True North Mini Coolers are bench cryostorage racks that protect temperature-sensitive samples at the bench or in the freezer. They are filled with insulating gel, so a chilled cooler holds temperature while you work through a batch of PCR reagents, enzymes or other biochemical reagents, and they can also be used for controlled freezing of samples.

Construction is polycarbonate with rubber non-slip feet, and every cooler has a gridded, keyed one-position lid so tube positions are easy to identify. Seven styles are available, 0.5 mL tube adapters are supplied as standard with the 0.5–2.0 mL versions, and a temperature-retention graph is supplied with each unit so you know how long the cooler holds its working temperature.
