Overview
The SANPLATEC DX sterile box solves the problem of acrylic plate degradation caused by sterilisation lamps. A built-in device continuously circulates dry, sterile air through the acrylic housing, which can be fitted with a Japan Pall HEPA capsule filter rated at 99.97% dust collection efficiency for 0.3 µm particles, together with silica gel and activated carbon.
Because the HEPA capsule can itself be sterilised with ethylene oxide gas, the same enclosure serves two roles: a sterile box for clean handling and a dry box for moisture-sensitive items. The lamp plate is sterilisation-resistant, and the large opening makes it easy to place and remove work securely.
These enclosures suit microbiology, tissue culture and parts handling where a small clean environment is enough.
