Thermo Scientific PL6500 Lab Refrigerators

The PL6500 series includes three general-purpose laboratory refrigerator models: PLR221 (221 L), PLR386 (386 L) and PLR1006 (1,006 L). Thermo Fisher lists temperature control from 1°C to 12°C, factory preset at 4°C, with advanced air stability of ±3°C and audible and visual high- and low-temperature alarms.

Availability and intended use

Thermo Fisher’s product information states that the PL6500 series is available in China and limited Asia-Pacific regions only. Its Hong Kong listing currently says PLR386 is not orderable. Availability can differ by model and market, so contact CSI Labshop to confirm Malaysia supply before selecting a unit. Thermo Fisher also notes that these models are for non-regulated environments; check your laboratory’s requirements before using one for regulated storage.
