BRAND Density Measurement
Overview
BRAND density measurement covers the glassware used to determine the density of liquids, dissolved oxygen and sedimentation volume. Calibrated BLAUBRAND density bottles are made from borosilicate glass 3.3 and come with an individual certificate, which suits documented work in water and wastewater laboratories, food and beverage quality control, pharmaceutical QC and university practical classes.

- Calibrated Gay-Lussac pycnometers to DIN ISO 3507, calibrated to contain (TC, In) at a reference temperature of 20 °C, with an individual certificate.
- Uncalibrated density bottles to DIN ISO 3507 in borosilicate 3.3, with nominal capacity printed on the bottom.
- DAkkS calibration certificate available on request from the DAkkS-accredited laboratory at BRAND.
- Winkler oxygen flasks in soda-lime glass, each calibrated with its own stopper, so flasks and stoppers are not interchangeable.

- Density and relative density of liquids by pycnometer.
- Dissolved oxygen in water by the Winkler method.
- Settleable solids, sludge volume and ASTM centrifuge testing.
