Overview

The N2014 starter kit is built around a Diligence EV thermocouple data logger with an LCD display. Diligence EV loggers are small and light enough to be placed almost anywhere, which makes them useful for monitoring sensitive materials in transit or in storage, and for building services work, scientific experiments, production processes and heating, ventilation and air-conditioning checks.

Thermocouple input lets the logger accept a probe suited to the application, so the same unit can be used in a fridge, an oven, a packaging trial or a duct. Data is downloaded to a PC using the dedicated software and computer interface supplied in the kit — the loggers do not stream to a phone. Two versions of the software are available, and the starter kit bundles the logger, interface and software so a monitoring programme can start immediately.
