G-WON GMK-1010N Wood Moisture Meter
Overview
The G-WON GMK-1010N is a portable wood moisture meter that checks moisture content in wood quickly and accurately, so production and drying can be held to the moisture level the market expects. Monitoring dryness also protects stock: timber stored or shipped too wet deteriorates and can decay in storage.
Measurement uses the electrical resistance method with automatic temperature compensation, and the built-in scale covers 7.9% to 50.3%. Accuracy is stated as ±0.5% with reproducibility of 0.10%, and readings appear on a digital LCD. A hammer sensor is attached for measuring moisture in various hard woods by inserting the sensors into logs, hardwood, lumber and poly-wood.
