Good results start with good sample preparation. CSI Labshop supplies equipment to grind, homogenise, digest and disperse samples before analysis in food, environmental, mining, pharmaceutical and research laboratories.
The range covers laboratory mills and sieve shakers, rotor-stator and high-pressure homogenisers, high-shear mixers, ultrasonic processors (sonicators), microwave digestion systems and Kjeldahl digestion units. Frequently asked questions
Which mill is right for my sample?
It depends on the hardness, the starting particle size and the final fineness you need. Hard, brittle materials suit jaw crushers and ball mills, while soft or fibrous materials suit cutting or rotor mills. Send us a description of your sample.
When do I need microwave digestion?
Use it to dissolve samples completely before ICP-OES, ICP-MS or AAS metal analysis. It is faster and cleaner than open hotplate digestion.
