cid:433A5C446F6B756D656E746520756E642045696E7374656C6C756E67656E5C64732E534C2D30372D3036375C4465736B746F705C6E6577736C65747465725C6665622D323031335C6F762D746F6F6C2E6A7067.jpg
Task: 1 kg of mud paraffin to be mixed homogeneously with a suitable overhead stirrer

Method of Preparation: The sample is filled into a 2 liter beaker and melted in a water bath at 130 °C. During the melting process, the sample is stirred with the overhead stirrer EUROSTAR 100 control and a dissolver stirrer R 1300 at low speeds. The medium temperature is measured directly using a PT-1000 temperature sensor which is connected to the agitator. After the mud paraffin has completely melted, the speed is increased to 1200 rpm and the sample is stirred for 2 mins. Then, the stirrer is removed and the sample is cooled to room temperature.
Result: Homogeneous sample of mud paraffin is achieved.
