Benchmark Scientific BenchMixer Vortex Mixer
Overview
The BenchMixer from Benchmark Scientific is a general-purpose vortex mixer for resuspending pellets, mixing reagents and preparing samples. Its Q-Drive balancing system keeps the vortexing action smooth and powerful while cutting noise and vibration, and suction feet stop the mixer from walking across the bench.
Speed is variable from 200 to 3,200 rpm, and you can choose touch mode (press a tube on the cup to start) or continuous running. Optional heads adapt one mixer to different vessels: a flat head for flasks and beakers, a combination head for tubes and microplates, and horizontal heads for 1.5/2.0 mL, 15 mL or 50 mL tubes. The BenchMixer can also be used in cold rooms and incubators.
