FoodLab is a fast, user-friendly and reliable analysis system for food like Milk, Eggs, Tomatoes, Vegetable puree, Cheese, Dairy products, Edible Fats, Oils and so on.
The system comprises:
- a thermostated analyzer based on photometric technology that uses solid-state emitters
- kit of reagents prepared by CDR research laboratories
- pipettes with fixed calibration to ensure a correct collection of Tester samples and an accurate dosing of reagents
- illustrated data sheets
- DVD with filmed methods
CDR FoodLab Method
FoodLab System use the innovative CDR FoodLab Method that consist in analytical methods simple, fast and designed to minimize losses: it is in fact possible to use microscopic samples (5-100 µl) either as is or after a limited treatment.
With its semplicity CDR FoodLab Method is ideal to be used during every production stages in food industry to performe quality control in real time
The CDR FoodLab Method protects the health of operators using low toxicity reagents that are Tester easily disposable and supplied in ready to use pre-filled cuvettes.
Fast
CDR FoodLab Method enables to quickly determine specific parameters in foodstuff:
- it required minimal sample preparation and handling or sample as it is
- reaction times vary according to the test and can last up to 3 minutes.
To further reduce testing times, it is also possible to perform test sessions on several samples up to a maximum of 14
Reliability, accuracy and reproducibility
CDR FoodLab Method guarantees maximum reliability, accuracy andreproducibility thanks to the Tester analyzer based on sophisticated photometric technology and on digital signal processing.
Furthermore, incubation and measuring cells, thermostated at 37°C and the possibility of aligning the system with reference standards and samples with known titration value guarantee an accurate standardization and maximum reproducibility of test results.
The analyzer is supplied pre-calibrated. Calibration curves are pre-installed, but it is also possible to quickly and easily perform customized calibrations.
Guaranteed quality: Correlation with ISO reference methods
The analytical method and the system have been assessed by Sinal certified laboratories like the Milk Standard Laboratory of the Italian Association of Milk Producers. The comparative tests for acidity (FFA), peroxides value (PV), soaps in fats, and oils and chlorides in milk have been performed by Neotron’s laboratories.
Results are correlated with international FIL/IDF reference methods.
User-friendliness
CDR FoodLab Method does not require specific calibration, cleaning and maintenance Tester operations and can therefore be easily used to assess quality in real time when raw materials are purchased, stored and during single production processes. If employed to monitor production processes, the system can also be used to run chemical analysis in batch mode. The availability of pre-programmed tests, which can be easily selected from the displayed menus, instruction sheets and filmed method help operator. Results are always automatically printed by the built-in printer.
