BUCHI offers evaporating solutions to match all kind of customer needs. The high modularity of the system also allows to update basic installation to an advanced or professional system.
The difference between the Rotavapor R-210 and the R-215 is the R-215’s additional BUCHI Rotavapor display showing vapour temperature and rotation speed: A worthwhile investment for processes that require precise monitoring and reproducibility!
The basic model is designed for all kind of evaporating tasks in combination with an existing controlled vacuum concept. The digitalheating bath can be adjusted from +20°C to +180°C. The motorisedquick-action jack is easily activated at the touch of a button.
The advanced model is for users who like the comfort of exactly regulated process parameters. The advanced Rotavapor® combines the rotary evaporator basic with the Vacuum Controller V-850 and is suitable for all standard Rotavapor® tasks.
The professional model is for users who need outstanding versatility. This system includes the professional Vacuum Controller V-855, for fully automatic distillation and or manual processing. The intuitive operating concept is suitable for a exceptional wide range of applications and covers all your requirements, from the simple maintenance of the set vacuum to automatic BUCHI Rotavapor distillation of complex mixtures.
Solutions from a single source
Combine the advanced and professional system with our award winning and chemical-resistant PTFE diaphragm Vacuum Pump V-700 or V-710. A newly developed single stroke control in the V-700/ V-710 pump regulates the speed and ensures that a hysteresis-free vacuum is created. The precise pressure curve produces a constant condensation front and ensures maximum evaporation performance. This type of regulation by Vacuum Controllers V-850/ V-855 leads to whisper-quiet operation. There is no need for an additional vacuum valve. All BUCHI Rotavapor interconnected instruments are automatically recognised via an integrated RS-485 interface providing full communication and interactions in-between.
Multiply your Rotavapor
Conventional sample work-up with a rotary evaporator is limited to single evaporation or parallel evaporation with the so-called ‘spider’, where cross-contamination is an inevitable problem. However, BUCHI Labortechnik AG is tackling this problem with an entirely new approach: The Multivapor accommodates up to 12 samples separately in cylindrical transparent water baths. Boiling retardation is prevented BUCHI Rotavapor by a virgorous vortex induced by a thorough horizontal orbital movement of the heating plate. A vacuum manifold, which individually seals every single sample, conducts the vapor to the condenser assembly of the rotary evaporator. Thus, this synergy enhancing concept shares the condenser assembly and vacuum unit for both the Rotavapor and the Multivapor.
