HTZ Compudil 3 Twin-Syringe Diluter and Dispenser

The HTZ Compudil 3 is a benchtop liquid-handling instrument for sample pipetting, dilution, serial dilution and reagent addition. It uses independently driven syringes in a twin-syringe configuration; HTZ also describes a single-syringe configuration that can be upgraded later. A keypad-controlled microprocessor provides programmed functions, with an RS-232 interface for external control and program exchange.
Applications and configuration
- Sample transfer, dilution and serial dilution
- Reagent dispensing and transfer with wash functions
- Sample syringes from 50 µL to 5 mL and diluent syringes from 1 mL to 25 mL, subject to selected syringe and valve configuration
- Four dilution modes and six dispensing modes, plus transfer and wash functions
Check syringe sizes, valve, tubing internal diameter and handset options against the liquids and volumes in your method. The manufacturer notes increased carry-over risk with dilution ratios below 1:5 or with immiscible liquids.
